Tina Strutt: Registered Psychotherapist

Tina is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.  She has worked in the area of Counselling Psychology since 1996 and has experience in research, teaching, supervision and psychotherapy. Additional training she has done include grief and loss, hospice, group work, brain and behaviour, postpartum depression, and marital counselling. Tina has experience working with individuals, couples and families; counselling a variety of issues including, premarital and marital, relationships, divorce, anxiety, depression, postpartum anxiety and depression, anger management, self esteem, grief and loss and a variety of other life transitional issues.

As a psychotherapist, she enjoys providing authentic, compassionate, challenging and insightful support as she journeys with her clients through a variety of challenges they face. Tina understands that our past has influenced our present but it need not dictate our future. Our life experience, positive or negative, are building blocks for who we are today and can be effective tools in creating who we aspire to be tomorrow. She believes that with the right tools, empathic support, and personal determination, we can live our lives to the fullest.

In addition to her private practice, Tina also works as a Peer Assessor Lead and Practice Advisor for the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Tina works with a variety of extended health providers including Green Shield and SSQ.  She is also an EAP provider for Health Canada and many federal government agencies.
